Basic Gameplay Loop
BrutalSol follows a turn-based structure where players:
Roll dice to move around the board
Take actions based on the square they land on
Manage resources and make strategic decisions
Repeat the process to build their portfolio and influence in the game
Movement Rules
Dice Rolling
Click the "Roll Dice" button to move
The dice produces a random number between 1-6
Your player moves clockwise around the board by the number of spaces shown on the dice
You must wait at least 5 seconds between rolls
Board Navigation
The board consists of 21 squares (18 cities + 3 special locations)
Landing on different types of squares triggers specific events:
City: Option to mint units or pay rent
Jail: Player is detained until they meet release conditions
Bunker: Safe space that can be owned and provides shelter
Tax Authority: Manage tax points through filing or spending
Landing on Squares
When Landing on a City
If no one owns units in the city, you can mint a unit
If others own units, you must pay rent
If you already own units, no action is required
You can only mint one unit per visit to a city
When Landing on Jail (Square 3)
Your movement is restricted
You must choose an action: Pay bail, attempt a bribe, or wait
Your vehicle type determines your waiting period if you choose to wait
When Landing on Bunker (Square 14)
If unowned, you can purchase the bunker
If owned by another player, you must pay rent
You can damage the bunker using tax points
When Landing on Tax Authority (Square 10)
You must take a tax action before you can move again
Choose to either file taxes (gamble your tax points) or use your tax points
